4. D I A N A
Born Again - I saw DIANA for the first time this year during CMW when they opened up for CHVRCHES at the MOD Club. The band came together after each playing in previous bands. Carmen’s (Army Girls) voice is so unique, it’s infectious.
You can tell when hearing this band and seeing them live, that they were meant to play in a band together. -

1. GROUNDERS
Grand Prize Drawl - this such a good song. I believe this band has been playing together for about 3 years now but I just recently heard this song and got really excited.
I think they’re off to do some pretty sweet things.
And get a load of this music video! So crazy! -

Cracked on CBC: Featured Music: Royal Wood's Safe Haven

I was lucky enough to catch Tom Odell last night at Toronto’s Rivoli.
He was fantastic…
Although, he played a short set, he left the crowd wanting more, which in my mind is what makes a show great. The crowd was completely silent (except for the lady in the back yelling at him to play a Taylor Swift song - LADY, we came to see TOM ODELL, not him cover some Taylor Swift song.. If you want to hear her so badly, why don’t you go home and listen to the damn record?.. Stop ruining the show for the rest of us).
This song especially, Another Love was so captivating. His vocals were spot on.
I even loved the opening band! Which doesn’t happen very often.
Toronto’s very own, Jane’s Party took the stage just before and blew us all away with their three part harmonies and Beach Boys-Esc charm.
All in all, I’m really glad I made it out to this show. -
