Again, another obvious band… Their songs are perfect. Jack is meant to be a songwriter.

  7. Bombay Bicycle Club released their brand new music video for “How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep”.
It is hands down one of my favorite music videos ever made.
A perfect mixture of Fantastic Mr. Fox meets Mary & Max.

  9. Well another year has gone by…I’m going to be all sentimental and shit for just a few minutes. I’m not trying to brag, or flaunt anything that’s happened to me this year, I just don’t want to take anything for granted whatsoever. Whether you read it or not, I don’t care. This is more for myself than anything.

This past year has been one of the scariest, craziest, most fast passed, and exciting years of my life.
I graduated college, packed up my life in London and moved to Toronto, found my job at Casablanca and could never be more grateful. I’ve been to more concerts this summer than ever before. I volunteered at Edge Fest, where I met some amazing people and had the most amazing day. We got to play Canadian Music Week, I met Paramore (for at least the 4th time) and watched backstage in Montreal. Martin’s dad survived a heart attack, my grandfather survived a fall. I lost touch with some really close friends, but have reconnected again. Met Matthew Good for the first time. Gotten my way into more than a few Dine Alone BBQ’s (living right next door, how could I not?) Saw Bombay Bicycle Club for the first time at the INDIES (CMW) having no idea that later that year they would be one of my clients. Also meeting them this fall, getting to shake their hands and see them play live again was absolutely mind blowing to me. I’ve changed my diet…I am now a vegan…I’ve also lost weight, which I thought was never possible (not that I needed to lose a significant amount or anything, it was just always a goal to tone up a bit). I live in a house full of boys whom I love dearly like brothers. I’ve been writing some exciting music with a few guys who truly accept everything about me. I’ve read more books this year, bought more albums, made new friends, tried new things and never thought I could love biking around the city of Toronto on a hot summers day so much.

I’m just so grateful for this year…
I hope 2012 is good to me as well as you :)
I just want to thank all my friends who support me in everything I do. I hope they know I support them too :)

  10. I am completely in love with this video…
Not just because it’s Bombay…but because the video reminds me of road-tripping to Florida.

  11. My favorite albums of 2011!

Every year I like to put together a list of my favorite albums.
This year was a great year for music :)
A lot of the albums on my list are Canadian…Which, come on…The albums released this year in Canada rule, and are some of the best.
Please check out the playlist I put together, with a song from each album.

  14. Casablanca Media: It’s been another fun week at the Casablanca Media headquarters....

    casablancamedia:

It’s been another fun week at the Casablanca Media headquarters. During our royalty deadline crunch, there was the great Chai Tea debate. The only clear winner was Starbucks as we do love some ‘tea’ tea.

Our Creative Manager & resident shark expert, Amy escaped on vacation for a couple days….

Oooh royalties make us do and say funny things…except listening to Bombay Bicycle Club- that’s completely acceptable. :)

  15. Remember I posted ‘Video Game’ by Lana Del Rey as song of the week about a month or two ago?….
Well Bombay Bicycle Club covered it at BBC Radio 1 Lounge.
