I wanted to post a bunch of bands that have been influencing my writing right now.
I mean it’s pretty obvious since I post regular things about each band… But I’ve been wanting to do this regardless.
I also know that no one really cares about another random person writing music, because let’s be honest, so many people are doing it and I’m just a person in my room with dreams.
I just want people to check out some good tunes and maybe have it influence them, like it’s influenced me.
1. Simple Math- Manchester Orchestra
This band in particular… The music is perfection. Andy Hull’s lyrics have always overwhelmed me, in a good way. He leaves a lot of things up for interpretation, which I love, but his lyrics are so deep and it’s perfect. -

Bombay Bicycle Club released their brand new music video for “How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep”.
It is hands down one of my favorite music videos ever made.
A perfect mixture of Fantastic Mr. Fox meets Mary & Max.
